Internships for RNs
Duke University is nationally known as one of the best
health care centers in the world. We offer Nursing Internships
in a variety of specialty care areas that provide support,
mentoring, and educational experiences above what a typical
orientation program would offer:
- NeuroSciences Programs
- Oncology
- Operating Room
- Medical/Surgical/Critical
Care Programs
Nurse interns receive standard orientation to their area
of interest and will then follow a specially designed track
for their service area with additional educational experiences.
Interns will be precepted to develop into the kind of nurse
they have admired and aspired to be.
Internship programs last for one year. In exchange for
this unique educational opportunity, we ask for a commitment
of one additional year within the area of your internship.
