Charge Nurse
The Charge Nurse provides clinical leadership for a designated work area and shift. Prior to participation, nurses are required to complete the Charge Nurse education program, including skills validation.
- Nurses are eligible to participate after 12-18 months service within the Duke Medicine system
- Compensation = $2.00/hour additional
Preceptor Program
The Preceptor Program at Duke Medicine prepares participants to serve in an array of vital roles, including coach, teacher, facilitator, resource person and evaluator. Prior to participation, nurses are required to complete the Preceptor education program, including skills validation.
- Nurses are eligible to participate after 12 months service within the Duke Medicine system
- Compensation = $1.00/hour additional
