Our Supplemental Staff, also known as our Float Pool, provides an excellent opportunity for nurses to work throughout the hospital in a variety of units, including surgical, medical, critical care and many more. Supplemental Staff nurses treat a diverse range of patients under changing circumstances and challenges, and enjoy the variety of working in different settings.

The Supplemental Staff provides an ideal setting for nurses who may not have decided on a specialty area, and would like the opportunity to work in a variety of areas before making a commitment. Nurses in Supplemental Staff also enjoy the same continuing education and certification opportunities available to nurses throughout the hospital.

Supplemental Staff services provide flexible schedules and premium rates of pay for experienced RNs. Supplemental Staff will fill in for pre-existing shifts, as well as “call-out” shift vacancies, giving RNs the added flexibility of floating between different departments, filling in on both long-term and short-term assignments.

Float Pool staff are expected to work on a per-diem, or as needed basis.
