Plan and provide profess ional nursing care for patients in accordancewith the medical and nursin g plans of care and established policies andprocedures. Provide nursing services to patients and families inaccordance with the scope of the RN as defined by the North CarolinaBoard of Nursing.

Plan, provide and document professional nursing care, utiliz ing thenursing process, in accordance with physician orders and establishedpolicies and procedures under the supervision of the team leader orch arge nurse.Delegate tasks and supervise the activities of other licensed andunlicensed care providers.Assist other healthcare personnel in the d elivery of patient care.Participate in maintaining the environment of ca re including equipmentand material resources. Work requires graduation from an accredited BSN or Associate's Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma program. All registered nurses without a Bachelor's degree in Nursing (or higher) will be required to enroll in an appropriate BSN program within two years of their start date and to complete the program within five years of their start date.
